Program description
Human and commercial transportation are growing at an increasing rate around the world (References). According to the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP), the world's largest logistics organisation, logistics is the process of planning, implementing, and supervising the procedures required for the efficient transportation and storage of all products and related information, including services, from point of origin to point of destination, in accordance with the needs of the customer. This term incorporates internal and external movements as well as inside and outward movements.
According to this description, the Logistics Management and Industrial Engineering departments provide training on a variety of topics within the discipline at various levels.
