Program description
The programme seeks to develop scholars who will develop and conduct original scientific research in the fields of Architecture and sub-research areas such as History of Architecture, Theory and Criticism, Cultural Studies, Environmental Control and Building Technology, Building Information, and Urban Design. The program's goal is to equip students with fundamental theoretical methods and knowledge accumulation in the field of architecture and the mentioned sub-research fields on international, national, and local dimensions. Students will gain the skills to perform independent research, assess scientific events from a broad perspective, and determine the steps required to attain new syntheses within the framework of the curriculum.
The curriculum both prepares individuals for a research-oriented academic career and provides them with new insights into specific areas of the discipline.

Price
Tuition fee: 16,000 USD/program
For students who are accepted to their desired program, a non-refundable placement fee of 1000 USD will be charged to those who accept the program placement.
Requirements for applicants
- To be a graduate of Architecture or similar
- Bachelor marks: Min. 3.00/4.00 or
- Master’s marks: Min. 3.30/4.00
- One of the test results listed below should be obtained: GRE (New): Min. 153, GMAT: Min. 500 ALES: 70 Quantitative
The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English/Turkish. You will need official translations along with verified copies of the original.
Language requirements
- TOEFL IBT: Min. 84
- IELTS is invalid due to State Higher Education Council of Turkish Republic Legislation effective as of 0 1.07.2016.

- At least 1 reference(s) must be provided.
- A motivation letter must be added to your application.
- A relevant portfolio is required. Portfolio of previous architectural design works.
