Program description

Energy systems engineering is an important field that requires both innovation and highly qualified employees.

The demand for conveniently available and high-quality energy is growing in Newfoundland and Labrador and around the world, creating a global demand for graduate-level professional training in energy-related fields.

The demand for sustainable energy, as well as the environmental risks associated with existing methods, necessitate major innovation in energy systems engineering.

To develop more sustainable ways, research and innovation are required to produce financially feasible, readily available, and environmentally benign energy generation and consumption. This curriculum is multidisciplinary in nature. It addresses the industry's complexity and need for knowledge in a variety of technological fields.
