Program description
The Faculty of Science at Memorial University offers interdisciplinary Environmental Science programmes. Environmental Science students come from a variety of undergraduate science backgrounds, including the bachelor's programme in Environmental Science offered at Grenfell Location (Memorial's campus in Corner Brook). Our graduate programmes allow students to expand on their undergraduate science knowledge by investigating its environmental relevance, seeing how it ties to other scientific disciplines relevant in Environmental Science, and learning more about these other fields.
A graduate degree in Environmental Science can be obtained in three ways: a course-based programme leading to the degree of Master of Environmental Science (MEnvSci), a more research-intensive programme leading to the degree of Master of Science (Environmental Science), and a research-based PhD.
