About the university
Vancouver Film School (VFS) is like a big studio in that it has all the necessary production capabilities to make movies, TV shows, games, animation, designs, and digital apps, among other things. Making content is the backbone of our educational platform. In order to ensure that our education is up-to-date and relevant, we hold frequent updates and realignments of our curriculum and ensure that our facilities are staffed by expert teachers and mentors. Everything here is designed to assist students in developing, creating, and showcasing their most exceptional creative and technical work.
We are impregnable from the standpoint of education. Immersive, efficient, and life-changing, our one-year programs cover a lot of ground. There is a purpose to this. Inspiring curriculum design and the successful preparation of industry experts to teach are two areas in which our education department excels. Here, we are all by ourselves.

VFS provides 15 distinctive post-secondary programs encompassing all facets of the entertainment arts, designed and instructed by acclaimed industry experts. The rigorous curriculum of each program adapts to the industry's expectations and contemporary best practices.

Accreditations
- British Columbia Private Training Institutions Branch. The Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) regulates and protects students in British Columbia's private post-secondary career training sector to ensure quality education.
- British Columbia Education Quality Assurance. The institution's EQA certification indicates high-quality educational services. Students may quickly identify BC government-recognized provincial institutions that meet quality assurance criteria and provide consumer protection with this mark. EQA designation is required to become a CIC Designated Learning Institution.

In 2023, graduates were credited with 8 of the top 10 highest earning films, 7 of the top 10 best-selling games, and 8 of the top 10 most streamed series.
