About the university
FINAL INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY (FIU) was established in the Kyrenia district of North Cyprus in 2015 through a collaboration between the DMG-Akgünler Group, a prominent player in the tourism industry in North Cyprus, and Final Education Institutions, a premier educational brand in Turkey.
Final Education Institutions
For more than 42 years, Final has been offering educational services. It has raised pupils at every level from kindergarten to high school with its more than 600 educational establishments. Through their studies at Final institutions, more than four million young people have so far realized their educational goals. One of the busiest book and magazine publishers in Turkey, Final has twenty-one thousand employees. Final entered the higher education market in 2015 with the founding of Final International University.
DMG-Akgünler Group
In the meantime, DMG-Akgünler Group began operations as Akgünler Tourism in 1978. From that point on, it has kept making investments in lodging, travel, marketing, and freight services, rising to the top of the industry. It has made investments in a number of tourism-related businesses, most notably Acapulco, one of the major hotels in North Cyprus. Additionally, it is the top company on the island for planning tours and providing air and sea transportation.
