Campus and student enrollment
The main campus of Colorado State University lies right in the middle of Fort Collins. Having been serving Colorado since 1870, it is the sole land-grant university run by the state. With buildings in the foothills of Fort Collins, the Rocky Mountains, Denver, and even Mexico, CSU-Fort Collins spans the city, state, and continent.
CSU has record enrollment from the past ten years. 33,648 overall CSU students registered in fall 2023. Among them, 29,085 were on-campus students and 23,650 were undergraduate ones.
